The flowering tree species, known as 'talauma', was given the genus name Magnolia, after Pierre Magnol.   This doorknocker is sand-cast in yellow or red brass, with a choice of nickel plate or oiled bronze.  Measures 9.5 H x 9.5 W.  All Colby Smith door knockers are made to order.
